No one will ask why you began,
or what pushed you to keep going when the road grew heavy.
They won’t see the nights you cried yourself steady,
or the mornings you rose pretending you were fine.
People notice success, not survival.
They celebrate the finish line, not the quiet miles in between.
And sometimes
they won’t even know, or care to check, if you’re still alive.
That’s the truth you learn over time:
not everyone will understand,
not everyone will stay,
and not everyone will ask if you’re okay.
But you must keep walking anyway.
Do the right things, even when no one’s watching.
Choose kindness, even when it costs you pride.
Be honest, even when silence would be easier.
And most of all
do what makes you happy, in your own way.
Not the world’s version of happiness,
not the one wrapped in applause or approval,
but the quiet kind
the peace that comes from knowing you stayed true to yourself.
So keep going.
Walk your path, even if it’s lonely.
Keep your heart clean, your spirit light.
Because at the end of it all,
no one may ask, no one may see
but you will know.
And that will be enough.
